ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Rajkumar Bharathi

Despite being the great grandson of Mahakavi Subramania Bharathi and learning from carnatic legends like T.V. Gopalakrishnan and M. Balamuralikrishna, Rajkumar pursued a career as an R&D engineer. Afflicted by dysphonia in 2001, he redirected his musical talent towards composition. Over the last two decades, he has become a sought-after composer for dancers worldwide, also conducting global workshops as a remarkable teacher who collaborates across musical genres and cultures.
