WHY MILAPSPACE?

MilapSpace was created to open up Indian classical arts learning—making it more accessible, inclusive, and deeply enriching. It responds to the needs of artists, learners, and enthusiasts who are hungry for more: those seeking to go beyond surface-level understanding and explore the art forms in greater depth.

By offering thoughtfully curated content and guidance from master practitioners, MilapSpace provides a space for continuous discovery, helping individuals revisit, refine, and flourish in their artistic journeys—on their own terms. MilapSpace addresses a long-standing gap in Indian classical arts learning: the need for accessible, high-quality, continuous education.

Traditional learning often relies on short-term workshops or intermittent access to gurus. Our platform transforms that experience—bringing structure, depth, and a holistic approach to learning, all led by respected practitioners.

Our Story

MilapSpace grew out of Milap’s 40 years of Indian arts work in the UK. For 15 years our summer schools in Liverpool brought India’s most respected gurus to students from around the world, and those sessions showed how much learners wanted the nuance, context and guidance that short workshops rarely give. MilapSpace takes that teaching online: structured, high-quality courses led by master artists, open to anyone, anywhere, at any time.
