Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi

Globally renowned violinist Vijayalakshmi, daughter of the legendary Lalgudi G. Jayaraman, is celebrated for her soulful solo, duet, and trio performances in Carnatic music. Beginning her international journey in the mid-1980s with a North American tour, she has received numerous awards, including the Sangeetha Kalanidhi title from the Madras Music Academy. Her music, praised by legends, including a heartfelt compliment from sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar, continues to resonate globally for its profound impact.
